Elementary Assistant Principal –


The Lawson R-XIV School District is seeking an outstanding educator for the position of Elementary Assistant Principal. Located in Lawson, MO, Southwest Elementary School serves approximately 450 students in grades PreK-fourth grade (PK-4).

 

The Lawson School District seeks an exceptional educator to join a successful building administration team that consistently strives for high student achievement. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills as an instructional leader and the ability to collaborate with building teams focused on student success.

 

This is a ten (10) month position with employment beginning on or before August 3, 2026. Basic Requirements include: Master's degree or higher with a major in Educational Administration, evidence of Missouri Elementary School Principal certification, and at least three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher. Successful school administration and supervision experience is desired. The candidate must possess effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of proficiency with computers, including but not limited to web-based software and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience.  Successful completion of a background check is a pre-requisite for the position.
