Southwest Elementary Counselor–

The Lawson R-XIV School District is seeking an outstanding educator for the position of Elementary Counselor at Southwest Elementary (K-4).  Located in Lawson, MO, Southwest Elementary serves approximately 400 students in grades kindergarten-fourth grade (k-4).     

The Lawson School District is seeking an exceptional educator tasked with being a part of a successful building instructional team that consistently strives for high student achievement. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills as an instructional leader, and the ability to collaborate with building teams focused on student success.

Basic Requirements include: evidence of Missouri Elementary Counselor certification, at least three (3) years successful experience as a classroom teacher preferred. Successful counselor experience is desired. The candidate must possess effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of proficiency with computers, including but not limited to web-based software and office applications experience.  Successful completion of a background check is a pre-requisite for the position.
