Special Education with GATE & Psych Examiner (Testing) Duties and Possible Coaching 

 The Lawson R-XIV School District is accepting applications for a Special education teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.  Special education certification and ability to meet Highly Qualified Teacher status is required.  Position will also include GATE instruction and testing duties (School Psych Examiner certificate) for the District.  Qualified applicants will have: Experience in administration and interpretation of assessments used to make instructional decisions and eligibility determinations; Effective communication skills; Strong ability to employ a variety of research-based instructional techniques and work collaboratively in teaching students with diverse learning styles and abilities.

The district has extra-duty assistant coaching positions available to may be paired with this teaching position.
